I now know how to read a menu in Mexico!. I really like the KLOO game, I can't get my family to play it very much so I do play it by myself a lot. It is elementary enough for me to understand and play. I have played KLOO with a couple of friends who seemed to have fun. I go to Mexico every year, this year I plan to know more of the language!
Fantastico!! We have four people in the family playing Kloo. Two don't like card games and two do! Me and my one son have learnt a ton of the cards already and my other son who isnt interested in learning spainish actully is learning through kloo without trying. My husband knows alot of spanish already but hes enjoyed a few rounds too. Its awesome and is a big help with some good laughs too! Its great for getting ourselves speaking not just reading. Yes id recommend kloo!
We bought the cards to use while travelling around Canada to ensure we kept up with our Spanish practice. Brilliant. For future development it would be useful if you could also print the actual verb (ir /er/ ar) on the card as well as the conjugated version.
Hi Andrew, I think it is really nice and good marketing strategy, that you give your customers a personal touch.. I am a retired Spanish teacher, now I have a U3A group, and we tried it last week.. and they really enjoyed it.. and they are looking forward to play all the other decks.. after playing the game they felt really good.. and realized that learning Spanish is not that difficult and can be achieved.. even if you are 60+
Fantastic way to practice reading in Spanish. I purchased a KlOO game my first year of teaching to help a small group of 3rd graders practice reading aloud in their native language (Spanish). Before this game, students were incredibly shy to begin reading aloud, but KLOO was a real game changer! These kids got a kick out of making sentences that were grammatically correct, but sounded
silly like "We ate the delicious cardigan." My kids are hooked. As 5th graders, the same students will beg to play KLOO. I love this game as it is something that students can play on their own when they finish their work in my 3rd-5th grade classes and it continues to build vocabulary for even beginners. Because I have had to pack this game back and forth between my two schools, I finally invested in a second game. KLOO has been worth every penny! I am a huge KLOO fan!
